We are not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, do not provide legal or medical advice, and do not represent veterans in claims.

We share data only with the service providers we need to run the product. Each one is contractually bound to handle your data appropriately:
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We will only disclose your information when required by law (such as a valid subpoena or court order).
We retain submissions and generated reports for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations (typically up to 24 months from the date of purchase). After that, we delete or anonymize the data. You may request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).
The information you provide includes information about your physical and mental health. We treat this as sensitive personal information and apply the protections described in this policy. Note that Veteran Report is a direct-to-consumer educational tool — it is not a HIPAA-covered entity, and standard HIPAA protections do not automatically apply to your submission. We do not exchange your data with healthcare providers or insurers, and we do not act as a Business Associate to any covered entity.

Residents of California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and certain other U.S. states with consumer privacy laws have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain data sharing and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights. Residents of Washington State are protected under the My Health My Data Act, which governs consumer health data and includes the right to withdraw consent at any time. Email us at the address above and we will respond as required by your jurisdiction.
Veteran Report is not intended for and not directed at anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and limited data access. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed by unauthorized parties. If we ever experience a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
Veteran Report is operated from the United States and is intended for use by U.S. military veterans. If you access the service from outside the U.S., you acknowledge that your information will be processed in the United States.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to active customers and posted prominently on this page. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
